I can’t help but be in love with this monochromatic look. It’s striking, stunning and timeless. A black and white themed room always has more impact when you add a third accent colour, whether this is grey, canary yellow or aqua blue. For example, add definition to an off white scheme by using black as an accent colour. Create a luxe minimalist hotel-style bedroom with bold grey striped walls. Add a bed with an upholstered black or grey headboard. Add accents of white with crisp white bedlinen and pillows. Layer the bed with a grey throws and a pile of plumped up cushions in the supmptuous textures of faux-fur and copper. With copper and marble being so hot right now, accessorise with these accent items. It Gives the rooms a real sense of luxury. The trick is to focus on texture, using contrasting materials while keeping the color palette consistent. It can be the perfect way to achieve harmony and warmth in your space. Layer with large prints, chevron and geometric prints to make a bold statement. Try stores like IKEA, their range is huge as we all know and have some great accent items at amazingly low prices.
